Biona penne pasta, is made using only 100% wholegrain durumwheat semolina and mountain water. Wholegrains arenaturally rich in healthy fibre and are full of flavour and vitality.

Biona pasta is bronze extruded whihc means that traditional bronze dices are used to create the shapes, giving it a slightly rougher surface, which binds the sauce more naturally and follows the principles of traditional Italian pasta productio.

Biona pasta is made by a family owned pasta manufacturer in the North of Italy.

Their farmers don't use chemical pesticides or herbicides on crops, and they don't grow genetically modified plants and they also make sure they only use sustainable farming methods and do not work their land intensively.
