The Sun Jar is a wonderful concept of using the natural sunlight of the day time to store up energy which is then used in the evening and night time to provide a natural source of light.

Simply place the fantastic Sun Jar in direct sunlight during the day and the rays will be stored in its highly efficient solar cell and used to charge its rechargeable battery situated inside.

In the evening the energy stored during the day is used to power the 3 LED’s inside of the jar which when diffusing through the frosted glass give off a warm and natural glow of light.

There is a light sensor incorporated within the jar which detects when it is light or dark and thus no requirement for an on-off switch. There is however an override switch inside the jar should light not be required or to conserve battery life.

The mason jar used for the sun jar is 100% waterproof and therefore the sun jar is a great outdoor light and looks fantastic in the glowing in the garden as well as in the home.
